After taking some photography classes at Camosun College, Victoria , she found she was very interested in close-up photography, and has primarily focused on shooting flowers. She uses a Nikon f80 35mmSLR camera as well as a Nikon D70. Ann has shown and sold her photographs in the Alliance of Saltspring Artists annual shows, 2002 and 2003, as well as the Photosecession 2004 show.
