Andrea Collins spent a year studying fine arts as an undergraduate at Emily Carr College in Vancouver, before moving to Salt Spring Island in 1993.

Inspired by the natural and rustic landscapes here she became drawn to capturing those images with a camera.  "In many ways the landscape became my muse, inviting me to photograph the images that inspired me"

Her Salt Spring studio - 'Starfish Studio and Gallery'  will open in December.
