After a 10-day voyage in the Arctic Circle without capturing a single good shot of an Arctic Tern, my husband and I stopped over in Iceland. We drove the Snæfellsnes peninsula, searching for birds. As the day waned, rain began to fall. Our last hours of the trip seemed doomed. Just then, my husband spotted an Arctic Tern fishing close by! It was perfect timing. The universe had answered my prayer!
